I don't know what "moderate leg coverage" is, either! I can tell you that every single swimsuit I have ever purchased rode up. The Miraclesuit a bit less so, but it does!

Try going up a size - that is what I do as I have a long torso. Miraclesuits have enough cinching power to still work a size up. You also may have a long torso. Find out how to measure your actual torso size and then check out Cyberswim's sizing guide for each swimsuit style to make sure that the Miraclesuit you are interested in is close to your torso size.

Question
My swimsuit I bought about a year ago is losing color in several spots and leaving see through areas. Why is it doing this?

Perhaps you have been swimming in a heavily chlorinated pool or spa. This will over time create color loss. Or perhaps you have washed the bathing suit in a detergent with bleach added(Not good) or with one of those so called hand wash soaps like Woolite(Also not good). I suggest rinsing the suit thoroughly in cool water after every use and occasionally washing in a mild liquid laundry washing detergent(I use Ecover mild). My suits last for years and I swim year round at least once a week.

MaryKay, assuming you are following the care directions, I would think your suit SHOULDN'T be doing this after a year. Having said that, Miratex isn't as durable as Spandex; you have to rinse the chlorine out of your suit every time you use it. You also have to take care not to get suntan oil/lotion on the outside, because the chemicals cause Miratex (and Spandex) to decompose. The sheer spots your seeing are because the color and the chemicals in the Miratex are wearing thin. Hope this helps; sorry about the suit. I think it should last more than a year!

We will certainly pass your request for more colors in our Avanti suit along to the appropriate people here at Cyberswim as well as the manufacturer. We appreciate your taking the time to address this issue with us.
